The practice opened in 1994 as a single surgery practice in custom built premises. It took five years from initial conception until the door opened to the first patients, the original store building occupying the space had to be totally demolished before the practice could be built.

We were the first BUPA Dental cover registered practice in Scotland and have expanded from a three person, single surgery beginning to our present situation of two surgeries and 10 staff. The expansion continues in 2000 with the addition of a further 2 surgeries, teaching facilities, and the expansion of our specialist services.

The practice became limited to the provision of cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry in 1997, with the second surgery being equipped as a surgical suite for the placement of dental implants. In 1998 we were runners up and received a commendation in the Scottish business and Excellence awards.
